Odd One Out
Everyone knows where they are. Except one of you.
Pick a nickname to play Sign in
Reading this needs nothing. Starting a session needs a nickname, which takes about a minute and asks for no email address.
What it is
Everyone shares a location except one player, who has to bluff their way through and work out where they are.
How it plays
- 1
Everyone is told the same location, except one player, who is told nothing.
- 2
Take turns asking each other questions that prove you know where you are without saying it.
- 3
The table votes on who is bluffing. The bluffer wins by naming the location first.
The details
- Players
- 3โ8 players. The host can set the number in advance, or leave it open and close the door once everyone has arrived.
- How long
- About a few minutes of playing. The session itself lasts as long as the host sets, from an hour to a week, so nobody has to be at their phone at the same time.
- Kind of game
- Bluffing and hidden roles
- Suitable for
- Anyone. Nothing in it that anybody needs to be warned about.
- What is kept
- Everything written in a session is encrypted, and the whole session is deleted when it ends. What that means.
